Artist born in Nybro, raised in Kalmar and since 2018 living on Öland where he runs Isola Studios. Trained in classical painting at the Swedish Academy of Realist Art in Stockholm and Florence Academy of Art in Italy. After his studies in Florence, Niklas also taught at the Florence Academy of Art.
Under Niklas' guidance, courses in oil painting are offered. Portrait painting, landscape painting, still life are some of our recurring themes on Niklas courses. The courses contain both practical and theoretical elements.
Niklas Elgmo's studio is also located at Isola Gård. You are of course welcome to drop by when you are visiting.
